Minor League Pickleball is an innovative team competition where teams of four players (2 women and 2 men). Teams compete against each other over Labor Day weekend where each match includes a women’s doubles, men’s doubles, and two mixed doubles games where the outcome could lead to an innovative singles shootout called the Dreambreaker!
Brackets and Team Building
Team bracket ratings are calculated and verified at the time of registration. The aggregate or sum of player scores are what determines bracket eligibility. To participate in the DUPR 18 bracket players combined scores cannot exceed 18.30.
Here is an example of a qualifying team:
Player One: 4.25
Player Two: 4.70
Player Three: 4.12
Player Four: 4.55
Total DUPR Score: 17.62
DUPR 18 Match Schedule
Match Schedules are posted online here. Teams will need to arrive at least 30 minutes in advance to check-in and warm up for the first match. Players will be guaranteed a minimum of 4 matches with champions playing 5.
Registration
The cost per player is $75 and will be paid through the Spitfire website after registration is approved. You can register online HERE. All players need to register and sign appropriate waivers before tournament charges are posted on their accounts.
